As part of our plan to improve how people get around Southampton on foot and by bike, we aim to create a cycle route on A334 Bitterne Road East. This will be achieved with funding secured from the Department for Transport. The new cycle route will connect local communities with Bitterne Precinct. It will also form an important part of Southampton’s Cycle Network (SCN) route 2.
